The road

Here I am! My debut short story collection! Originally published in 2021 in Alberta on a (possibly defunct) storefront called kobo. I don't even know if it's still available there. 

Anywho, I added two stories; The Porcelain Doll and The Red Cabin Door. I think Porcelain Doll was included in some version of the collection a while ago, but Cabin Door was written last year.

I had a busy day today! From formatting the collection in Word to setting up itch payments and such, it's been quite the process. Today I added the stories, set up to publish on itch, cropped & recropped & recropped & recropped the cover to fit the filesize requirement, saved as pdf, added table of contents, saved as pdf, fixed table of contents, saved as pdf, edited in openPDF, downloaded, & had to refresh itch basically in between each step.

Long story short, it's published! I'm still not entirely happy with the way some of the stories are written, but a finished product is better than no product. I think five bucks is a fair enough price for something eight years in the making, right? Anyways, here's to better and gayer horizons.
